Swan Valley Lodge Building Automation Upgrades project located at 818 Vancouver Street in Creston, BC, will include upgrades aiming to improve energy efficiency, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, enhance occupant comfort, and ensure compliance with current building codes and standards. The scope includes implementation of a series of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) targeting Mechanical (primarily HVAC), Electrical, controls, and building envelope systems. These upgrades are intended to reduce the site’s greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by approximately 46%, decrease energy use intensity by 35%, and increase the proportion of electricity in total energy consumption to 47%. The project also encompasses completing additional work to realize the full operational capacity of the newly installed heat recovery chiller, including expanding its service to the residential PODs (rooms). The Services are expected to commence by December 2025 with Construction estimated to complete by July 2027. The Project Delivery method of this Project will be Design-Bid-Build (CCDC 2 2020). IH intends to issue the successful Proponent an AIBC 6C Contract, as amended by the supplementary conditions included in Attachment C.
