Project Name & Number: VJH Electrical Infrastructure Upgrade - Phase 1 Procurement Number: 6120400 Type of Consultant: Design Bid Build Brief Scope: A schematic report was produced in October 2020 by AES Engineering to review the existing electrical power distribution system at the North and South towers and the Energy Centre at Vernon Jubilee Hospital. The attached report and drawings provides recommendations to address the existing known issues, limited capacity on various levels of system, distribution level redundancy, and allowing for future growth. The project design will incorporate construction proceeding in multiple phases over several years to align with funding allocations. Consulting service requirements include design and engineering for the entire scope of the project and construction administration for the first phase. On site bi-weekly field reviews will be required during construction or at intervals determined by the IHA PM based on actual progress.
