IH has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified proponents to undertake Construction Management Services (the “Services”) with respect to KGH MRI Replacement and Addition (the “Project”), as described in Attachment A of the RFP. Project KGH MRI Replacement and Addition located at Kelowna General Hospital (KGH), 2268 Pandosy Street in Kelowna, BC, will include a two-phase renovation project that will construct a building addition adjacent to the existing Medical Imaging (MI) department (Phase 1), while renovations to the current MRI occupied space (Phase 2). The current facility and programming will remain operational during the construction and renovations. The Services are expected to commence by February 2023 with occupancy complete by November 2025. The Project Delivery method of this Project will be Construction Management. Contract Interior Health intends that the Contract between the successful Proponent and Interior Health will be the CCDC 5B between Interior Health and the Construction Manager (CM) as amended by the supplementary conditions included in Attachment C.
