PROJECT INFORMATION

1. Scope of Work;

  • Install new air to water heat pump in main boiler room, complete with double wall heat exchanger, to heat the domestic hot water (DHW).
  • Heat pump to provide a leaving water temperature (LWT) greater than 60 degrees Celsius, and preheat the domestic cold water (DCW) service to the DHW storage tank (DHW-2), located in the main boiler room.
  • Steam boilers to provide DHW under peak load conditions.
  • Provide new 30A/3ph breaker in existing delayed vital 600V panel.

Note: Domestic hot water system to remain operational during construction. Contractor to minimize system shutdown and coordinate with plant services. 

2. The estimated construction budget for the Project is $315,000.00

3. Substantial Completion date to be determined by Contractor.
