The Project VEP Vernon Urgent and Primary Care (UPCC) Centre II & Primary Care Network (PCN) Combined Hub seeks to create about 10,163 square feet space of Combined Hub comprised of Vernon UPCC II and Shuswap North Okanagan (SNO) PCN. The Combined Hub will provide primary care for injuries and illness that should be seen by a health care provider within 24 hours but do not require the level of service or expertise found in an emergency department. The Vernon UPCC II will be integrated with the PCN by encouraging unattached patients accessing the new UPCC to register with the Health Connect Registry and through ongoing discussions for opportunities to collaborate on service connection with the PCN resources. The Services are expected to commence by early April 2025 with construction estimated to complete by August 2026.The Project Delivery method of this Project will be Design-Bid-Build (CCDC 2 2020). IH intends to issue the successful Proponent an AIBC 6C Contract, as amended by the supplementary conditions included in Attachment C.
