IH has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified proponents to undertake Progressive Design-Build (the “Services”) with respect to HVAC Improvements (the “Project”), as described in Attachment A. Project HVAC Improvements are located at six (6) regional facilities within BC Interior, to replace end of life assets. The Pre-Construction Services are expected to commence by August 2023 with construction estimated to complete by September 2024 The Project Delivery method of this Project will be collaboratively delivered through a Progressive Design-Build. Contract The two-phase Progressive Design-Build Contact is outlined in the table below. Phase 1 Pre-Construction Services, Interior Health intends to issue the successful Proponent Consulting Service Agreement included in Attachment C. At the discretion of Interior Health, Phase 2 Construction Contract will be awarded upon acceptance of the 50% Design and Class B Cost Estimate to facilitate approval of the Lump Sum Price.
