Merritt (MER) Chiller Replacement located at Nicola Valley Hospital & Health Centre in Merritt, BC, will include installing a new Chiller and ensuring its integration with the existing HVAC system. The existing Chiller was installed in 1999 and is operating beyond its recommended 20-year service life. The existing Chiller does not provide adequate cooling to the site during hot weather and requires frequent service. The current size of the Chiller is 125 tons. The Services are expected to commence by June 2025 with construction estimated to complete by July 2026. The Project Delivery method of this Project will be Design-Bid-Build (CCDC 2 2020). IH intends to issue the successful Proponent an AIBC 6C Contract, as amended by the supplementary conditions included in Attachment C. For the purposes of this procurement process, all enquiries must be made via Bids & Tenders.
