IH has issued this Request for Proposals (“RFP”), for the purpose of inviting proposals from qualified proponents to undertake Construction Management Services (the “Services”) with respect to PRH Oncology Relocation (the “Project”), as described in Attachment A of the RFP. Project The Project involves a redevelopment of 815m2 of vacated space on the 3rd floor in the Penticton Regional Hospital for a new Tier 3 Oncology Department. The new department will include; 11 Treatment Bays, 2 Treatment Rooms, 4 Clinical Treatment Bays, 5 Exam/Consultation Rooms and 8 Washrooms plus office spaces, using a phased approach. The Services are expected to commence by April 2023 with occupancy complete by January 2025. The Project Delivery method of this Project will be Construction Management. Contract Interior Health intends that the Contract between the successful Proponent and Interior Health will be the CCDC 5B between Interior Health and the Construction Manager (CM) as amended by the supplementary conditions included in Attachment C.
